How to Use – Pool Opening

1. Remove the pool cover and raise the water level if needed.
2. Reconnect hoses, circulation, and electrical equipment, then start the pump.
3. Circulate water for at least 8 hours and test using the included test strips.
4. Balance total alkalinity, pH, and calcium hardness as needed.
5. Add Algae Guard Granules through the skimmer.
6. Add Metal, Stain & Scale Control to the deepest part of the pool.
7. Add Shock Ultra according to label directions.
8. Resume normal sanitizer use and maintain free chlorine between 1–4 ppm.

Always allow products to dissolve fully before adding the next one.

How to Use – Pool Closing

1. Balance water chemistry and clean the filter.
2. With the pump running, add Shock Ultra to the deepest part of the pool.
3. Add Algae Guard Granules through the skimmer.
4. Add Metal, Stain & Scale Control to protect surfaces during winter.
5. Circulate water for 24–48 hours.
6. Follow equipment manufacturer instructions to winterize the pump and filter.

Helpful Tips

• Always test and balance water before adding chemicals.
• Add chemicals separately — never mix products together.
• Keep the pump running while adding products unless directed otherwise.
• Use the included test strips regularly to monitor water balance.
