The problem

A strong chlorine or bromine odor actually means that there is not enough free available chlorine or bromine in the spa.

Recommended solutions

- Adjust pH levels in the range of 7.2 - 7.6.
- Oxidize with HTH spa™ Non-Chlorine Oxidizer.
- Check sanitizer level and adjust as needed to a range of 3-5 ppm for chlorine and 2-4 ppm for bromine.
