- Dip Test Strip in Water
Dip one test strip into pool water for 2 seconds, wrist deep, away from jets or return lines. Remove with pads facing up. Do not shake. Hold the strip level for 20 seconds while results develop. - Get Your Test Results
Compare your strip to the color chart on the bottle, scan it using the HTH™ Test to Swim App, or text a photo for personalized guidance. - Adjust Pool Chemicals as Needed
Use your results to balance your pool water and maintain proper chemical levels. - Test and Balance Weekly
Repeat this process weekly to keep your pool water clean, clear, and properly balanced.
Storage & Disposal
Store test strips in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Dispose of used strips in household trash—do not flush or add to pool water.
