Compatible With All Pool Types

Works in chlorine, bromine, and saltwater pools. These swimming pool test strips give reliable readings on traditional chlorine systems, saltwater chlorine generators, and bromine systems.

Reliable Storage and Shelf Life

Strips stay accurate 12-18 months when stored cool, dry, and tightly capped. Even brief humidity exposure damages the reagent pads, so never store near the pool, in a bathroom, or in a hot car. Always check the expiration date printed on the bottle.

How to Use

Testing Your Pool Water

Test your pool water using one of three methods:

  • Mobile App: Download the HTH™ App and scan your test strip with your phone’s camera for digital results
  • Text Support: Text “HELP” to 484-123 for personalized pool care support
  • Color Chart: Compare your test strip to the color chart provided with the product

1. Dip Test Strip in Water

You’ll see results on the colored strip in seconds. Dip one test strip into pool water for 2 seconds, wrist deep, away from jets or return lines. Remove with pads facing up. Do not shake off excess water. Hold strip level for 20 seconds

2. Get Personalized Results

Download the HTH™ Test to Swim app, compare your strip to the side of the bottle or text a photo to 484-123. We’ll give you personalized instructions in seconds.

3. Adjust Chemicals as Needed

Use your personalized results to balance the chemicals in your swimming pool water.

4. Test & Balance Weekly

Repeat this process weekly to keep your swimming pool water beautifully clean, clear and healthy.

Safety, Storage, and Disposal

Storage

  • Keep test strips in their original container with lid tightly closed
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Keep away from pool chemicals and cleaning products
  • Use only as directed

Disposal

  • Dispose of used test strips in household trash
  • Do not flush test strips down the toilet
  • Recycle empty container where facilities exist
