Why You Should Use This Product: HTH Pool Care Salt Shock is a fast‑dissolving, stabilized chlorine shock designed specifically for saltwater pools. It helps kill bacteria and algae, restores water clarity, and protects chlorine from sunlight while working seamlessly with salt systems.
Before Use: Test pool water and adjust total alkalinity and pH before application. Always add chemicals separately and keep the pump running.
Application Instructions
Add the recommended dosage of this product directly to the pool during evening hours while the filter pump is running.
Broadcast the product evenly over a wide area of the pool, preferably in the deepest part.
Only add this product directly to the pool. Use entire contents of the bag once opened.
If any granules settle on the bottom, brush to disperse until fully dissolved.
Do not enter the pool until free available chlorine levels return to 1–4 ppm.
Weekly Shock Treatment
For routine oxidation and algae prevention, shock the pool once per week or as needed.
Add 1 dose (12 oz) of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
