Rechargeable Pool Cleaner with Auto Edge Parking
When the battery runs low, auto edge parking brings this rechargeable pool cleaner back to the pool bottom’s edge on its own. Dirt lock technology keeps debris contained, so nothing spills back into the water.

Retrieval Hook
At just 7 lbs. with a 1.3L filter for easy emptying, this small pool cleaner is easy to lift in and out of the pool water. Easily retrieve from the bottom of the pool with the included hook.

How to Use

Before Use: Charge the battery fully with the included adapter. Turn the cleaner off before charging and clean the charging port first. This cleaner is designed for flat-bottomed pools only.

Application Instructions: 1. Charge the battery with the provided adapter. A pulsing red indicator means charging. A steady blue indicator means charging is complete. 2. Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the cleaner on. 3. Place the cleaner in the water bottom-side down to avoid scratching the pool surface. 4. The cleaner changes direction automatically when it reaches a wall and begins cleaning the pool floor. 5. When the battery runs low the red light flashes for 30 minutes and the cleaner parks at the edge of the pool. 6. Attach the included catch hook to a pool pole, hook the cleaner's handle and lift it to the surface. 7. Wait 70 to 75 seconds at the surface for the cleaner to drain before lifting it out. 8. Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the cleaner off, then clean the filter right away.

Indicator Lights:

  • Blue, steady: running or fully charged.
  • Red, pulsing: charging.
  • Red, flashing: 30 minutes of battery remaining.
  • Buzzer with five red flashes at startup: battery too low to run.

Routine Maintenance: Open the cleaner using the buckles on both sides and remove the filter. Rinse the nylon filter screen and the sponge filter screen with clean water, then reassemble. Clean the filter after every use. Wash the sponge filter by hand and avoid excessive force or a pressure sprayer. The sponge filter is a consumable part and normal use will wear it out over time.

Safety, Storage, and Disposal

Safety and Care

Use only the original charger and only accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Do not run the cleaner out of the water. Do not use the cleaner while people or animals are in the pool. Do not run the cleaner while the pool filter is running. Charge in a shaded, dry place and leave the cleaner uncovered so it does not overheat. Connect the charger to a grounded outlet with leakage protection. Never charge the cleaner with the chassis facing up. Do not puncture, strike or throw the cleaner. Turn the cleaner off during maintenance, during cleaning and when not in use.

Storage

Store the cleaner in a cool, ventilated place out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source. For long-term storage, recharge every three months and keep the battery between 40% and 60%. Letting the battery sit fully discharged can cause permanent damage. Wipe the charging pins dry after every use and reseat the waterproof plug after every charge to prevent corrosion.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of pool is the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner made for?

Flat-bottomed above-ground pools. Lower the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner into the water wheels-down so the shell never touches your vinyl liner. This above-ground pool cleaner cleans the pool floor, so a smooth, even bottom gives you the best results. Deep wrinkles or objects on the floor can stop it, since the cleaner is not designed to climb obstacles.

  • Does the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner need the pool pump or filter running?

No. The HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner filters pool water on its own as it works, with no hose, no pump and no cord to connect. Keep the two separate: run your pool filter on its own schedule, and run the cordless pool robot when the filter is off.

  • What filter does the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner use?

The HTH™ Replacement Filter for the Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner is the pool vacuum filter your cleaner was engineered around. It matches the original suction and debris pickup, down to the housing dimensions. Drop it in, close the lid, done. Search results for pool robot filters fill with aftermarket copies, and quality varies widely between them. Filters clog fastest when your cleaner works the hardest, right after a storm or a week of heavy pollen, so keep a spare on hand. Between changes, rinse the pool vacuum filter and reinstall it.

  • Why are there water droplets inside the package?

Nothing is wrong. Every HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner is water-tested before it leaves the factory, then cleaned and dried before packing. A few drops can stay behind. Wipe it down and get started.

  • Why is the cordless pool robot not turning on?

Start with a charge. Plug in the charger and watch the LED. A pulsing red light means the battery in the rechargeable pool cleaner is charging, so let it charge fully before you try again. If nothing happens at all with the charger connected, contact customer service and we will take it from there.

  • Why does the pool cleaner pause before it starts cleaning?

That pause is on purpose. The above-ground pool vacuum robot holds off on starting its pump until it confirms it is fully in the water, and the sensors take a moment to calibrate. Give it a few seconds and it will get to work.

  • Why does the above-ground pool cleaner keep stopping or getting stuck?

Three quick checks. Look at the wheels and suction ports for trapped debris. Check the pool floor for deep wrinkles or an uneven base. Then look underneath the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner for anything caught there. The above-ground pool cleaner is not designed to climb obstacles, so clearing the floor usually gets it moving again.

  • Why is the robotic pool cleaner losing suction?

Usually it is the pool vacuum filter. Pull the filter screen, rinse it and reinstall it. If performance is still down, charge the battery fully, since a low charge slows the cordless pool robot too. Clean the filter after every use and you will rarely see this.

  • Why is the charging port on the rechargeable pool cleaner corroding?

Keep the port dry and it will not. Wipe the charging pin on the rechargeable pool vacuum after every use and dry it with a paper towel or cotton swab. Press the silicone plug back in tightly after each charge so water cannot reach the port.

  • Can you run the pool robot while shocking the pool?

Give the shock time to work first. Your pool filter needs to run to circulate shock through the water, and the above-ground pool vacuum robot should not run while the filter is running. Shock in the evening and let your filter run overnight. Run the HTH™ Above-Ground Pool Robotic Cleaner the next day, once the filter cycle is done. Clean both filter screens when you finish.
