Product Overview
The HTH Pool Care Skimmer Basket Insert is designed to make chlorinating your pool safer and more convenient. It allows you to remove leaves and debris without touching chlorine tablets and helps deliver consistent chlorination through your skimmer.
This insert works with HTH Pool Care Chlorine Skimmer Tabs or any standard 3-inch chlorine tablet and fits most skimmer baskets.
How to Install
- Remove the existing skimmer basket from the skimmer (skimmer basket not included).
- Place the locking ring into the center of the skimmer basket.
- Insert the skimmer basket insert into the basket, aligning it with the locking ring.
- Secure the insert by tightening all screws with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
- Turn the insert clockwise to lock it into place.
How to Use
Add HTH Pool Care Chlorine Skimmer Tabs or compatible 3-inch chlorine tablets into the skimmer basket insert.
When refilling tablets, remove debris first before opening the insert.
Rinse the insert thoroughly between tablet changes to help prevent chemical residue buildup.

Do not mix trichlor tablets with calcium hypochlorite (cal-hypo) tablets in this unit. Mixing tablet chemistries can cause dangerous chemical reactions.
